Tours at Minto Island Tea Company
There are a variety of ways to visit the farm and drink tea with us! Please read to the bottom to see all options.
Open House

This free, casual, and informative event includes walking our 35-year-old Mother Tea Plot, touring our processing room, tasting our teas, and plenty of time for Q&A. Activities will be taking place outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
Spring flush tea and plants will be available for purchase.

Located just 10 minutes from downtown Salem .3 miles off of River Road South.
After turning on Brown Island Road, cross the railroad tracks, you’ll see our nursery on your right and the black mailbox, follow signage for parking.

Group Tours
Tours involve strolling through the Mother tea plot, nursery and processing room while discussing Camellia sinensis from propagation to processing techniques, lots of Q&A, and tasting our farm-grown teas.

Private Tours
From groups of 10 to groups of 50 people, we've hosted families, senior citizens, continuing education clubs, and college students at our tea farm.
$35 per person for groups of 10 or more for a 2 hour tour and tasting, or $350 total for groups less than 10.

Please reach out at least two weeks prior to your preferred date. We are unlikely to have availability with shorter notice.

Tasting Sessions
Private tasting sessions are unavailable until further notice.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you have to cancel, we will give a full refund for those who provide at least 10 days advance notice, and a refund of half the cost after that. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance, since it's pretty challenging for us to fill a vacant spot on such short notice!
