This year’s summer flush white tea is a limited release for the holidays consisting of 12 grams each of two different teas. The first similar to our standard summer white tea: a nice mix of minimally oxidized tips and leaves with a creamy texture and gentle aroma that will leave you floating. This version has a bit less oxidation than usual and a relatively higher percentage of silver buds. The second is a variation produced entirely from Japanese tea cultivars grown under heavy shade, resulting a deeper, mellower sweetness and a fruitier flavor. Both of these teas would make an excellent digestif post holiday meal, but we hope you’ll take the time to savor and compare them on their own.
